Styling Ideas for Hair?

I have thin, light very fluffy hair. It is about 2.5 inches long at the top. I am a guy by the way.

I have never had any really good hair styles. Just soem meidiocre ones.

Does anyone have any ideas for what I could do? What products to use? Pics would help.

Personally I think you should grow it long and use man straighteners... but that's because I like guys with long hair =) Maybe you should take a look a the hot Orlando Blooms style, and take some inspiration from him.

For now, I think you should experiment with some wax (not gel) to create a more 'beach boy surfer' kind of look. Just spike it up and twist bits and flatten other pieces down, experiment! Also, take a peek at these two pics I selected;

Maybe you could try a style called the faux hawk. I think David Beckham had this image... I will add more details if I find out more or find pics.

Well since you have light hair don't try to cut it to short, or you'll look like you just got back from the Army (There's nothing wrong with the Army but it sounds like your looking for style)

I think guys look great with bangs but that might just be my opinion. So you could try growing it out more then cutting the back short and leaving the front in a side bang.

Or since your hair is light you can use some gel and have it a bit wavy.
