I am going to a party on Halloween and my costume is a witch (how original) anyways i want to do something with my hair, witch- like, but i don't want it to be too wild and crazy.

something I have done in the past and got a lot of complamnets on it (in Salam Mass of all places) was to just get some green brush in dye (it looks like mascra) and stech your hair then mess it up a bit and add in some of those cotten spiderwebs (streach them out alot for a better affect) then add in some small spiders in it. To hold the spiders in place I hot glued them to small hair clips. Good luck

Does anyone have any hair ideas for very curly hair?

I have very curly hair that goes down to the middle of my back, and it's very irritating. I'm not chopping it off, but I need ideas. I'm going to the hairdressers next Saturday to maybe get bangs and maybe layers. I've done high pony tails, braids (I can't do french ones), left it long, headbanded it. I'd love to do a messy bun, but it always falls out. Any ideas?

If you are doing layers be care because with very curly hair it might not come out the way you are picturing it. With bangs becareful with that as well. You will have to shraigten them everyday because if not you will have really wavy bangs as well. If you dont like the curly hair you could always tell your hairstylist to put a relaxer in your hair. That will help a lot. They tend to be a little pricey though. A couple of 100. But its well worth it if you want shraight hair.

We have that at my school too. One of my friends, covered her whole head with braids the night before and then did it again in the morning and then took them all out and her hair was wavy and poofy!!Everyone loved it. But make sure ur hair is wet b4 you put braids in it, but then when you do it a second time it doesn't have to be wet. Hope that this helps!Make sure to put hair spray in it.

I just thought of one.... wear your hair in a pony tail, but the hair gathers in a band at the front of your head instead of in the back or the middle. With the hair thats hanging down in front of your face you can curl it really tight so it wont be in your way. Seems silly and different to me, hope I helped!

omg perfect thats my hair too!! i bet its sorta frizzy though idk maybe thats just me... if i were you i would leave it down and put in a wave enhancer (john frienda works wonders!) and if your hair is frizzy get some friz ease. Just do it when you get out of the shower. this way you didnt totally go out of your way but you did care enough to do your hair. besides its natural and only shallow guys like superfical girls.

I have the same hair - I usually leave mine curly. A change I like to do is putting it in a loose, but high pony (curly) and then bobby pinning the pony into a curly bun. I leave a few whispies out to curl and that's it - quick and easy and fun :)

Your hair sounds kind of like mine, except mine is sandy blonde. I usually just wear mine down and natural. You can curl it, straighten it, all of that.

I like doing a messy ponytail and putting on a head band. In fact, that's what my hair is like right now :) A messy ponytail with a scarf tied in your hair would be cute too.

A sleek ponytail is always sophisticated - just go for a very deep part (no more than 2 - 3 inches above your ear) while your hair is wet. Blow dry it so that the part will hold. Straighten your hair and then use some kind of shine serum to keep it from looking dull. Then, pull your hair into a low ponytail. If you're feeling really industrious, you could wrap a piece of hair around your hair band and pin it into place with a bobby pin :)

I love the way a side braid looks with side braids. Put your bangs to the opposite side of your head than the braid is. So if the braid is on the right, you should have your bangs on the left. Add in a cute clip, bow, or headband, and it will look awesome! If some of the layers don't make it into the ponytail, use a bobby-pin or clip to hold it in.

If you want more curl in your hair I would definitely suggest a perm. If you want something more colorful, try some blond highlights, or maybe even red. If you want to go really wild, you could try some subtle blue or violets. Maybe you could even get a mixture of blonde and brown, or browns and red.

Because of your skin tone I wouldn't really go with the blonde highlight I would go more with a lighter brown, almost kind of an auburn color. Hey i think u should go for a bob, its this seasons hairdo! lol its really nice keep the front long and hav a chop in the back like victoria beckham. You should die it blonde for the summer or have highlights. As for the make up start with dream matte mouse its good costs around 6.99. Also dont use too much eyeliner but use quite a lot of mascara. my haircut i have now is AMAZING.

i haveside swept (side bangs) bangs and my hair has a lot of layers below the nape of the neck %26amp;%26amp; since i have side bangs, i don't part my hair down the middle, and the poofy-ness was always bigger on one side, i had my stylist think that one side out so it evens out and i love my hair now. but i do have to straighten my bangs every morning if i'm going to wear them down, but it's worth it

For frizzy hair, a good Idea may be to oil it, wrap it, and wrap a silk scarf around it every night. So when you take it out, It will be fairly shiny, have alot of body, and it will be frizz free, I garuntee it. Another hair solution for you may be to pin it up sometimes. Depending on the color of your eyes and the shape of your face. But please dont do an original ponytail. So not cute. If you have a round face, then you can do an original ponytail because it would look right because of your layered wavy hair. you can email me and talk about that. The last solution would be to do crimps.

Thats when you cornrow your hair , oil sheen it, wrap a silk scarf around it, leave it in over night, take it out in the morning and your hair is really crinkeley. That looks nice for any one with shoulder length hair. If you want more solutions, just write me anytime!

Great! I hope you like your new cut. First of all, no. Your hair will not get burnt if you straighten it for days and days. Just make sure you're using a ceramic straightener (real easy to find) which most of them are.

Definitely try to use some cute bobby pins. You can try to do some ponytails but... that probably won't work too well. Find cute barettes and hair decorations. Try getting clip on flowers.

I just bought a new product yesterday by John Freida. It is called 'Runway Straight' smoothing milk.

I tried it yesterday afternoon. (I have long hair and spiral curls naturally in some places, but wear my hair straight.)

I applied the gel and as the day went on, my hair got straighter. There are no chemicals in the gel. I wonder how they do that? The one I bought is for Brilliant Brunettes, but it's a clear gel and I suspect that the one for blonds, brunettes, and red heads is the same gel in different bottle. (just another selling ploy by the manufacturers)

Anyhoo, the product works very well. I did use my flat iron on my hair too, but it defrizzed and decurled my hair pretty well without one.

If you use this product to straighten your hair, then you can gel it or mousse it to really 'punk' out your short hair do really easily.

Quick Wavy Hair Ideas?

Here are some ideas you might try:

1) Putting wet hair into braids the night before. Plain and simple, you don't need any products for this style though an anti-frizz cream or serum does help. Wake up with nice waves!

2) Straightening hair with a ceramic iron. This might take closer to 20 minutes if your hair is long. Hair should be dry before straightening, which could be a problem if you take your showers in the morning. One product for this style is a heat protection spray or cream. Shine serum is helpful too.

3) Accessories. For either of these styles, you could add a cute headband or clip. Little girl clips are very in right now. Try putting different parts of your hair back in bobby pins to change things up.

4) Wear it up. Try pony tails or braids. Sometimes I just French braid the top of my hair and put the rest in a bun.

personally, my highschool doesnt care what people look like. it's a major difference from middle school, where you were kinda pressured to dress the way "everyone" did. so go for what YOU want, your own style. some days ill be dressed nice, while other days its sweatpants and adidas flip flops. this is the time when you can discover your own likes. wear what you want, in highschool, no one is gonna pick on you or anything, its a lot more laid back. NOTHING like stereotypical school types in movies or shows :)

just dress like you would any other day. Trust me, on my first day of highschool, I walked in the doors adn all the upperclassmen were wearing just normal clothes, all faded from over wear. It was really funny, beacuse then you were able to pick out the freshmen insanle easily; they were the ones in clothes unwrinkled and still brand new looking completely nervous. No one is going to remeber what you wore anyways, so just try adn have fun with your friends. ^^ good luck on your first day.

Grow a beard, clip it short, don't shave until your skin harden enough when you grow older. If your already older and you must shave for professional reason, use an electric razor.

You can get laser removal done, it's permant but u'll go in a couple times for it to work. Or you can use vaniqa it's a cream it's not permant but it'll slow down the hair growth.

you could use nair hair removal but it does grow back after a while, maybe waxing if you can deal with the pain and redness. Maybe check out a doctor that does hair removable you know threw laser, but I wouldn't know how much it costed or if health insurance would pay for it. I like the soft curls idea, but because of the halter neckline I would do soft curls and pull your hair up loosely on the sides and secure with a really pretty clip or pretty hair pins. This will accent your face and neckline and allow you to have it down a little. Or you could curl it and sweep it up into a half french twist and let the curls hang down. For a little more effect, twist a few curls up and put pretty pins in it. Good luck!

Yes the style of the dress definitely plays a role in your hairstyle! For your hair length, you can do a lot!!!

Since you would like to wear it down, you should wear the front pulled up- pony twist thing wear its frenchbraided on the sides or twisted on the sides going back and wear the ponytail it creats loose. The back half can lay down in drop/spiral curls. You can probably even put flowers in your hair fo a princess look.

Another suggestion is to put it all up and allow your ends to fall loosely in spiral curls 4 a messy on purpose- sultry look.

zig-zag part down the middle all the way down (think ponytails).

ponytail each side at the crown (or higher) loosely and tie (think shoelace) one time.

use hairpins to secure it down.

you can also do a deep side part for drama.

this is an awesome style for heavy or thick hair. super easy.

Just get some bobby pins that match your hair color and secure an updo. I am not sure what kind of hair type you have though and how long it is. It is always easier to put hair in an updo if it is "dirty". Don;' wash it today if you do not have to.

I would curl pieces of your hair before you put it up. You can start at the crown of your head and move forward. Then put up the sides and the back last. Grab some fresh flowers to cover up an bobby pins you have not been able to hide. You also have to use a lot of hair spray. Have a friend or family member there to help or at least hold the mirror.

molasses! i know it sounds weird but its a protein treatment. People put it in their hair from an hour to all day (under a shower cap). Then in the morning once you rinse it out you should notice alot less breakage and it should be softer.

Again though i emphasize its a protein treatment so if your hair doesn't need protein its going to leave your hair hard and dry feeling.

Hello. I am a fellow hair straightener and I know the toll it takes but also the coarseness if you don't treat it with heat. I tried to do the curling iron on all my hair because I like the look--TOO Hard,Too Long. I use hot curlers all over to smooth . Finish with curling iron and TONS of Moisturizers-straightening cream-expensive, but so worth it- will leave smooth finish. Good Luck--use good shampoo and conditioner-if you buy in bulk its cheaper than buying junk. Regards, Laurene

you should put the top of your hair in a hump while it is wet. another good one is To apply moose and put it in a low side ponytail with a hump at the top. or while it is wet add moose and let it hang. flat iron your bangs. if you plan on keeping it straight then you should put half up and legt the rest hang and put the bang in a clip to make a hump.

Any look would really suit you, it would just depend on what you would like to bring out on your face and how you will like to be expressed. A lighter color such as carmel/blond to light brown will give you a sexy and youthful edge. While a dark color such as espresso to dark red in it, can bring out your eyes. Especially since I noticed you have dark brown to hazel eyes. A darker color has a more exotic and mysterious edge. Both is sexy though!

I have the same type of hair and what i do is scrunch it and then i put it in a loop bun like were you put in a ponytail and dont pull it all the way through and then what i do is take the bun and make it into a full bun and then put a hair tie around it and make it messie. but before you do this take a chunk of your hair in the front and backcomb it and make it puffy and put a clip in it and then do what i said above. Then hairspray it down. I always get a lot of compliments because it is soft and cute and fresh. i hope that helps! oh and if you are in desperate need of a new look straaighten it for a day and put a headband or 2 in it its always a good classic look.

you could do a little poof at the top of your hair line. That's what we do for our competitions and it looks really cute. You can also put a rhinestone clip on it too.

Steps:

1. Gather hair ( two fingers about an inch away from the center of your head, only gather a little)

2. Take the hair and push it up, but only a little. (Its supposed to look like a little speed bump HA!)

3. Bobby Pin it or Clip it

4. Hair Spray the heck out of it so it stays nice.

I have long wavy curly hair also .. pin in on the side leave the rest loose maybe pin it on the top with the sides loose you can do a side pony tail with your curls nicely puffed out .. or get one of those pretty scrafs that they have place it in the front and leave the rest loose and curly. with curly hair its hard to style but the curls the prettiest style so try not to hide them much just decorate your curls it looks better than brushing them away they are beautiful and natural why try to hide them right :-)

1. Wear it half up and half down (cuute)

2. Slick the sides back with gel and leave the rest down and wavy..and put a zig-zag in the middle

3. u can try the "wett look"

4. Put leave-in cream in your damp hair after you wash it.. and let air dry (try curl keeper www.frizzoff.com) you won't have a wet look but your curls will look better

5. or side ponytail (just to the side a little..)

or slick the hair on top of your head back with gel, put in ponytail and leave the rest curly but shiny.

6. Use sea salt spray or texturizing spray to get the beachy look (never tried this yet but i ordered some online)

7. Flat iron your hair straight and use a curling iron to make like 4-5 long curls.. like 2 on each side and one in the middle and leave the rest straight.. just curl the strand on top of your straight layer.. so that it looks like u have straight hair with long curls on top of them.. hope i explained that right

8. put your hair in a bun and wear some cute earrings, light makeup or eyeliner and nice lip gloss to top it off

man I havent done these styles in a while u make me want to go fix my hair when I get home..and its the weekend. I dont have time to do my hair in the morning for work so I just put cream or gel in it and go.

I like Chris' hairstyle best. (The first link.)

However, that type of hair is rather difficult to style, for some. It's definitely possible -- however, you may find it challenging, especially if you haven't been doing the whole "emo" hairstyle thing for very long.

Also, getting that cut might be difficult. Unless you've got Sam Llansing (Guy who cuts Chris' hair) as a close friend, to cut it, it'll be hard to get it exact. Also, that look uses a lot of products, particularly hairspray, which can in some cases be damaging for hair.

Unless your hair is already long, don't try for the Izzy Hilton thing. Don't get me wrong; it's a good look; that's how I have my hair, but it doesn't work well with short hair. Also, upkeep's a *****.

I have the same kind of hair and I mostly wear it down but it is long enough to use a hair band in it. Use a good mousse and a shine serum in it it makes a ton of difference!!! Also use a finishing cream for frizz if you have any!

work those curls girl. add layers and immediately your hair will look longer and you'll have more versatility. Not only will it look all cute and have tendrils around your face when you tie it up but your hair will feel thinner after adding layers to it. trust me it helps. Just don't go too crazy with the layers and do not I repeat do not let them use the razor or thinning shears on your hair as it will make your hair frizzier!

Or better still, pop along to a salon, or your nearest Hairdressing school? Here you can get your hair done by a trainee hairdresser for just a nominal fee. You can try different ways of having your hair done, it won't cost you much, and you will be helping someone learn a trade too!

Hi I am a wedding Hair/Make-up Specialist I go on location and have done 1000s of brides! Long Dark Hair-Is it summer wedding if so Wash ahir the night before, very little conditioner if any. Let air dry but sleep with it in a high bun over night-this gives volume and a wave(if you want curls) In the summer long hair is wighted down by humitity(or if you live in a dry heat enviroment no worries)

Well I know one and all you need is a elastic.

flip tail

1. Hold chin down toward chest and make a low pony tail. tie it of with an elastic.

2. reach underneath the ponytail and use your finger and thumb to make a hole in the middle of your hair above the elastic.

3. with your other hand, twist the ponytail, grab it with your fingers that are making the hole. and pull it through.

ponytail veil

1. make 3 mini ponytails on left, middle and right. tie it of with elastic.

2. seperate the middle ponytail into 2 sections.

3. combine the right-hand section with th ponytail on the right and tie it off with an elastic.

4. do the same in the other side.

5. then tie off the 2 ponytails inyo 1.

try pigtails if ur still in school, cuz they're easy and look good. if u want somthing more grown up, then try using a three barrel curling iron to get some waves. just section ur hair off into small sections, and put the iron to the root, then down the hair strands. if ur tired of wavy hair, then just straighten ur hair witha flip inward if its layered., that's pretty much all i've got.
