Dance hair ideas?

i am going to a dance and dont know how to wear my hair. You dont get your hair done you it yourself. Its that kind of dance so kind causal but then dressy. Any ideas or pictures? Please think of something!

Although I understand you are going to a dance, and not a wedding, a good online resource for hair styles (including different styles for different lengths) is theknot.com.

There are styles for formal and casual, funky and natural. You can look through the pictures and find something you like, or an idea at least.

Thumbing through magazines is a great way to get ideas too. Sometimes you can find a look on a model that you like!

One thing I recommend is that if you have something specific you want, bring a picture of it (printed out on the computer, torn from a magazine, etc) to your stylist so they have something visual to go from.

well... it really depends on what type of dance but casual would be a bun... i do gymnastics and i normally just scrunch my hair and put it in a ponytail. if u've seen stick it b4 then i really liked the preppyish girls hair...

It depends what you think looks good on you

If you have naturally straight or wavy hair(and you like updos), try curling your hair and pulling up half of it. Or, you can just curl it and leave it down. If you have curly hair, then you should

straighten it and turn out or turn in the ends. YOu can even just pull your hair back into a mesy or fancy bun. Some people know how to make twisty cornrows and then curl the rest of your hair . It really would have been easier if you gave more info on your hair texture and appearance. Well...have fun!
