Hair ideas with CHI?

I just got a CHI (yea!) i know how to straighten, but how do you make ringlets with it?

Also::: if you have another idea about cute hairdos to do with a chi (or without one!) i would L-O-V-E to hear it!!!

you can do loose waves with a chi by clamping it on the hair, rotate the iron so the hair is half wrapped around it then pull it down the section

another fun thing to do with a chi is to get different sized wooden dowels and wrap pieces around them. then take the iron and clamp it on the hair wrapped around the wood. move the iron down the wood and hair rotating to get even heat, then pull out the dowel and voila spirals. it's fun to try different shapes too, like triangular dowels or rectangular ones. I hope that all made sense. another fun one for up-do's is to use an orangewood stick. it gives you a neat tiny spiral. let me know if you would like me to emphasize

you can also use it to flip out or under by slightly turning it the direction you want it flipped

well idk too many cute hairstyles but you could try making it a little messy with bangs(i think it is SOOOOOO ADOROBLE) and if it works with your face layers and slightly messy bangs could work well you might want to try them if you have an oval face(since they look so good with an oval face) hope i helped a little!

I own a CHI and the way i form ringlets is to take about a 1/2 -1 inch wide piece of hair and wrap it around the iron and hold for about 1/2 a second and you should get a cute little ringlet. You can also use it to make cute flips, if your hair is layered.
