Use some mousse on wet to damp hair and srunch to get beachy waves. Its really popular now and looks good on people with short hair at the length you have. I hear sea salt water can give you the same effect if you dont have mousse available. Or try putting it in some loose medium curls. You can get this effect with 3/4" barrel curls and with some hairspray, run your fingers through the curls. If you already have curls, you can try pulling your hair into a ponytail, for a fresh energetic look. Or try those hair clips to clip your hair into a bun.
