Shoulder length hair, ideas to style?

I have thick shoulder length hair thats brown. I want to do some curly casual up-do's for back to school, and just new do's. any ideas or website i can get step by step directions or just pictures? i have a chi to curl with and a curling iron, but my hair is just kinda naturally poofy not curly or straight.

their are soo many things to do with hair that we forget about them!!

here are just a few things :

- headbands, headbands! fix everything! try thin ones, thick ones, elastic ones, plastic ones, coloured ones, patterned ones.. put them in your hair plain, put it when your hairs in a side pony, put it with a clip in the back.

- try fun little barettes, cute and practicle. you could pin the side of your hair out of your face.. and there's all kinds! bobby pins, butterflies, flowers, crystals, pearls, classic clips, etc. try stores like claire's, aradenes, $ stores, or h+m

i can't find any specific pictures, but you could clip clips in your hair like this, with any kind of clips!

- pony tails -- not only high ones, but some in the middle, with a big clip, on the side, hair curled! experiment this summer!

- braids - totally cute.. a great way to hide greasy hair, you can add a head band! side braids are totally adorable and just your normal two braids [kinda messy] look great! you could do a lot of small braids in your hair and fasten them with bed head gel.

- messy bun -- sporty, but chick. easy to do, easy to pull off and hide a bad hair day.

so there are sooo many styles but i'm getting tired, haha, so sorry i'm not gonna write all the ones i can think of! but, hey, idk how old you are, but do you EVER watch disney shows [ everyone loves disney! ;) ].. anyways, the suite life, ashley tisdale's character always has good hair styles that make you feel inspired and are fun. if you ever tune in to that show, keep an eye out! or even any show you watch, if you see any cool hair styles, just remember em!! :) :)

I have the same hair...ok so curl the ends of your hair and then put them up and let down some side bangs come out and then curl your bangs that are coming out.And then just for fun put in a headband to tie it all up!just try it out...you might like it!

well, i have the same hair.. you can get a pin or two bobby pins and put a little hair from the front center of your head and then put it up like that. Then you could let the rest of the hair down, or tie them in over your shoulders!
