I've tried a curling iron with extra-hold hair spray (it fell flat after an hour) and I'm trying the swished wet mousse look. How can I get a result that will work?
I have long pin-straight hair that wont curl (at all) Ideas?
I have some ideas for you::::
a. curlers
b. straighten your hair with a straightener (even though it's already straight) first (to make it thinner), then curl it on the highest setting, then use a lot of hair spray (not airsol, the kind where you have to keep squirting)
c. curl enhancing cream, then curl it
hope those help! ya scrunching would look cute, when you get out of the shower get mousse and gel (DONT BRUSH YOUR HAIR) and act like you're trying to squeeze strands to make them smaller all the way down your hair. then put hair spray on it.
good luck!

gee, when I was a teenager, I wanted long pin straight hair, No way!!! Now my granddaughter wants hers to be straight! no way!!
and you want curls. I really wish there was a way for the curls to trade with the non curls then everyone would be happy.
Have you tried getting a body wave?? It helps a lot to make for a few curls.

I have the same exact problem too.
ReplyDeleteWith your damp hair put in mousse and spray garnier fructis curl shaping spray gel all over. blow dry it until its completely dry. Once dry, then spray hair with hair spray (i recommend "big & sexy hairspray" in the red can). Twist all your hair as tight as you can then twist up into a bun. Keep the bun in over night. When you take the bun out in the morning, spray your hair with hairspray and scrunch a little to secure your curls.
I hope this works for you!
