leave it alone. its there for a reason. Why should you feel bad about something your SUPPOSE to have? just because all the porno skanks go bare doesnt mean you have to. What ever happend to self respect?

it depends....are you a girl??? KIDDING, always use a bikini razor and use lotion right afterwards. if that doesn't help there are products out there like "bikini clean" and a lot of products with "bikini" in the title. all of those helps :D you only have to use one though, lol. just try it until they work :D it depends on your make up though....but just use things until you find something that works. it is in "women health care" section of everywhere. Anything with "Bikini" in the title is a sure fired sign thats what it is used for, but it depends on who you are. you just gotta use those products until you find one thats right for you.

I shave downward takes care most of the problem, I haven't had a ingrown hair in years.

Try the product "Tend Skin" (blue bottle). Great for the yucky bumps and ingrown hairs. I've had them from shaving and waxing - this stuff helped. Also loofah/exfoliate area often when you shower or simply dry brush to prevent ingrown.

When you shave the first few times you will have tons of itching and possible ingrown hairs. After a month or so of shaving a couple of times a week you will have no itching at all and rarely have ingrown hairs. The bumps depend on your skin and I would assume also fade over time. Pull the skin tight and shave with a multi-blade razor in the shower. It's not as hard as it would seem.

Waxing, though painful at first, is very effective for longer term removal. It also gets less painful over time and less redness.

Laser removal gets rid of all of it and after 5 treatments has no hair at all. No bumps, no itching, no ingrown hairs.

As for the "we have it there for a reason" camp, we also have hair on our head and face. I assume that these people never shave or cut the hair on their head? That is ridiculous. If you want to look a certain way, go for it. People get mohawks and have beards and moustaches or shave that every day.

A smooth pubic area is a choice and if you like it that way go for it. No one should talk you into or out of it.
