New hair ideas? (pics)?

so im pretty much sick of my hair always being straightened, i like the length its down to my butt but i need some ideas on how to style it and maybe some new colors too...any ideas?

Buy a crimper, with the wave plates and other design plates, add volume to your style with layers and crimping

Try getting your hair in a low bunch on the side, it looks soo cool on long hair and then maybey plate the hair in your bunch so your've got a cute plat going down you shoulder! it might look amazing if you do it properly!

I was unable to view your pictures. If you are going to grow your hair long, get regular trims every 8 weeks to prevent split ends. Get your hair dresser to feather your hair around your face to draw attention to your face. When you get past shoulder length think about getting layer cut through your hair, as the longer your hair gets the heavier it will be, enless you have thin hair. And if layers do not add a wave in your hair then have a semi or lose perm with large rolls to add a little wave or curly back into your hair

Your hair is gorgeous. I do suggest you don't straighten it on a regular basis. You can try using a wave lotion. They work great and you can use a de-fuser to bring the wave out without causing frizz. Mousse is amazing for this too.

Your hair is sooo pretty be careful with it. You are lucky.

Formal hair ideas?

I'm going to a high school formal dance in February, but I don't know what to do with my hair yet. My hair goes to about 2 inches below the shoulder...and I would prefer something that's half up/half down and curly. It doesn't have to be simple or anything, I'm going to go get it done. If anyone has any ideas, it would be wonderful. Thank you!

Well maybe you could curl the you hair and if you have a fringe straighten that. Or you could tie your back hair in a bun and leave two curls in front and styl your hair from the front that suites you. Hope i helped.

You should get a perm, or layers. Cut your hair between your shoulders and elbow. A great idea for and african american!

I am not sure but if your hair is straight and long why not just get a new simple style like layers and some highlight like a nice carmal color or something I know it isent the best idea for what your looking for but maybe it will help

Try

1._A messy ponytail (Only pull half of it through) with just a couple of mini-plaits on one side hanging down or put up with the ponytail.

2._Do a french plait down 2 sides until you reach your ears. Then tie it up there, then split the ponytails into three plaits. It looks georgeous!

3._ Try a twisty bun. You get your hair and make a bun, then you get the end of your hair and twist it round the bun. Secure it in place with a hairband and some hair-grips.

4._Finally, you could get your best pals around for a hair-accesorising session. Do each-others hair and glam it up using hair-curlers, straightneres or just sparkly clips n bits..

i hate the braids only because they look shiny at the scalp and you cant wash it much so the head stinks... i can smell it. do not do a weird color as it will emphasize any skin discolorations or acne you might have...... stay with your given color and go short and natural like Shana in that "Do you want to dance" TV show... she is adorable and play with fun hair decorations and headbands are "in" right now.http://www.hypehair.com/

I need some prom hair ideas?

I want to do something different with my hair this year for prom. Every year I have tons of spiral curls and this year i want something different. I have long dark hair. My boyfriend (my date fo prom) really wants me to not have curly hair but my hair is straight everyday so I don't want the same plain hair that I have every other day. So if there are other ways to have straight hair but make it beautiful that would be awesome. Thanks for your help if you can find any prom ideas at all.
